Why Are European Windows Higher Quality?

Our windows are produced in Europe and have been sold to discerning German customers, for over 30 years. These windows are now available to us in the United States.

Why Use Triple Pane Glass?

Triple pane insulates much better offering U-values down to 0.14 (R value of 7.0). They provide better comfort and sound resistance.

Can Better Windows Improve The Bottom Line Of Commercial Properties?

Highly insulated windows save on heating and cooling costs. Owner operators who pay for utilities can save up to 30% of those costs. This increases cash flow and building value.

What About Large Sizes?

The addition of structural steel frame inserts adds incredible strength to PVC frames allowing for much larger windows than what has been considered the norm. Large windows help apartment units appear much larger.

Are UPVC, Slimline, Aluminum & Wood Options Available?

Yes, specialty products are available including PVC, wood, aluminum and slim aluminum frames in both dual and triple pane. These are perfect for commercial windows, storefront or rooftop amenity penthouses, and single family residential.

What About Safety & Security?

The tilt function of European style windows allows for ventilation but not the entry of unwanted visitors. Laminated glass provides a shatter proof IGU which significantly reduces the ability to enter by breaking the glass.

What About Thermal Transmittance?

Our windows are highly insulative. Low U-values allow for reduction in the quantity of solar panels, thickness of insulation and electrical infrastructure. Aids in the performance of Passive House, Built Green, Living Building Challenge and Net Zero projects.

Is The Lead-Time Short?

Yes. Lead times of 12 to 16 weeks from receipt of signed shop drawings.

Is Fresh Air Ventilation Possible?

Yes, there are multiple fresh air options. Trickle vents and tilting the window inward, helps to meet fresh air needs. Window gasket release is available by turning the window handle to the 10 or 2 O’clock position, opening the entire sash to a ¼” airgap.

Is The Pricing Competitive?

Pricing is competitive with local manufacturers for double pane STC 32 and U-value of 0.27. Highly competitive and typically less costly for U-values below 0.26 and STC above 32.

How Strong Are The Windows?

Evolution Windows are tough. Integrated steel is inserted into the German uPVC frame and corner welds secure the perimeter. Thicker glass also adds to the structural strength of the window. German hardware provides locking points on all four sides of the operable window.

What About Reliability?

Tilt and turn windows have been a mainstay in the Europe for over 40 years. As energy costs increased, European windows evolved beyond their US counterparts. European frames, hardware and glass provide a truly bulletproof window, which is strong, quiet and amazingly energy efficient.

What Design Configurations Are Possible?

Large window configurations up to 8 feet tall by 12 feet wide are possible. Check with us for options outside of those guidelines.

What Is The Range of STC Options?

Base STC starts at 32 (no vehicle noise) with higher STC to 46 (minimal vehicle noise or jet noise) available.

Do They Bring In A Lot Of Light?

Excellent light transmission with standard SHGC values. Allow the maximum natural light into living spaces for tenant health and well being. 

Is It Easy To Replace Glass When Needed?

European window frames allow for glazing to be inserted from the inside making replacement easier than from the exterior.

Are these Windows Energy Efficient?

Yes, they have U values down to 0.14 with triple pane glass and down to 0.26 with double pane glass. Work with your energy consultant to determine which best matches your project’s needs.

Can the Thickness & Quantity of Insulation be Reduced?

Lower U-value configurations can be used by energy consultants to reduce the thickness and quantity of insulation in ceilings, on roofs, under the slab and on the walls.
